The Journey Guide:  Owner Randy Johnson is a NC native from Sanford.  He is a former Eagle Scout, and US Navy veteran with over 40 years experience boating on Jordan Lake and other fresh water lakes. Your safety and comfort is my top priority. I promise you will have fun, see some cool wildlife and learn something new!

Boat:  The boat is a South Bay 22-foot pontoon boat, seating up to 10 guests and double tops for shade.  JLJ has all required safety equipment.  We provide life jackets for kids under 13 as required by NC law and adults if requested.

Discounts:  10% off to active or retired military. Jordan Lake Journeys is a VET business that supports Veterans! Thank you for your service!

Departs: Poe’s Ridge Boat Ramp, Moncure NC.   Tues - Sun.  9am & 11:30 am  /    2:00pm & 4:30pm. GPS 935 Jordan Dam Road in Moncure NC.

Food:   We offer bottled water, soda, and variety of chips. You can also bring your own picnic basket or cooler. 

​

Parking:   Follow signs for a $5 parking pass Parking controlled by USACE.

Restroom:    Restroom is a small building on the right side of parking lot. 

 
Cancellation:  If you must cancel, do so within 3 days of the tour date by phone or e mail or you forfeit the $50 deposit.  If you fail to cancel or don’t show up for the tour, no refund is given.

Weather Related Cancellations:  SAFETY FIRST!  We monitor weather and will call you if we have to cancel a tour due to weather or low or high-water levels. If we cancel, deposit refunded or ask you to reschedule if possible.

Paying for your Journey:  A booking requires $50 deposit to reserve your date and time.  Pay balance by check to Jordan Lake Journeys, Paypal, or Zelle.  

 

Steps to Book a Jordan Lake Journey:

1. Click on "Book Now", the calendar will appear.

2. Select the date for your tour and click.

3.  Select the time for your tour and click.

4.  Click on "NEXT" and complete the booking information fields. Add number of guests in your group in the comments section.

5.  Click on "Pay Now" and you will be redirected to Paypal for deposit payment.
